Learning About Love

The Royal BC Museum will be taken over by adults on February 11 for a night of love and science! Night Shift: Wild Romance will have a bit of everything during the event, including live music, dancing, fun games, silent films, and more. There’ll even be a sex therapist on hand, answering questions the public were too afraid to ask! The adult only openings at the Royal BC are always good, and this is sure to be exception, so don’t miss it.

In the Mood for Jazz

It’s the Royal BC Museum one night, the First Unitarian Church of Victoria the next. The church will be hosting the Jazz Vespers - Token of Love concert on February 12 from 7pm. There you’ll be able to listen to sensual jazz music as performed by a quartet fronted by England’s Susannah Adams.

Nature and Love

Out in nature, talking about love: what more could you want? On February 12 from 10:30am - 12pm, take a guided stroll through Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park in Saanich for ‘Love in the Park’, where you will learn about the mating rituals and calling cards of the animals in the park. Hummingbirds, owls, frogs and eagles will all be discussed (and hopefully seen). Suitable for all-ages!
