Earth Day
If you didn’t know, Earth Day will be taking place in April, and the Clayoquot Community Theatre have decided to honour the special day in the best way possible: with a screening of ‘Planetary’, a documentary that talks about all things related to earth and our position in it! The event will be taking place on Saturday April 22 from 8pm - 10pm. If you love the earth, make sure you’re there!
Riding the wave
On the day after the screening you’ll be able to test your longboard talents against mother earth at the Storm’s Log Rider Waltz, a surfing competition that aims to establish just who is the best longboard surfer in Tofino. Will it be you? Roll up and try your luck...
Tofino Shorebird Festival
It doesn’t get much better than the Tofino Shorebird Festival, which will be celebrating it’s 20th year from May 5 - 7. The event is in celebration of the forty species of shorebird who flock to the region, so keep your eyes peeled and see which birds fly your way! There’ll also be talks and many more fun events taking place.
