Cowichan Bay Wooden Boat Festival
The the Cowichan Bay Wooden Boat Festival is a great way to enjoy some fun in the sun while mingling with locals. The two day event is packed with activities such as pancake breakfast, voting on your favourite wooden boat on display, clam chowder competition, boat races, and a kids’ fishing derby. The festival is free to attend, will begin on July 7th, and is located at the Cowichan Bay Maritime Centre.
Islands Folk Festival
Running 34 years long, the Island Folk Festival is a lasting tradition for friends, family and the whole community to enjoy. The festival features live music, great food and drink, fun activities and games along with camping for those who wish to experience the full three days. This event is open to all ages and will take place July 20th-22nd on Providence Farm.
Albert Bay Seafest
Great food, awesome talent, and unique art take place at the 36th annual Albert Bay Seafest! This festival celebrates great food and drink, local musicians and artists for a fun-filled day in the sun. Hosted every 4th week in July, the festival brings a collection of locals and visitors to mingle with each other, eat yummy dishes, and admire the beautiful scenery of Albert Bay. This is the 36th annual Albert Bay Seafest and will take place over 3 days, starting July 27th and ending July 29th.
